Tide Running was recommended to me by a friend last spring. At the end of my semester, I eagerly purchased a copy for a leisurely summer read, but found myself tearing through it at break-neck speed.
I enjoyed the book, there was no point to it, it's rambling and written from a Jamaican dialect but I think it adds to the charm. I've never read anything like it before.
